Since joining Bucknam & Conley in 2023 as a part-time team member while completing her studies, Sophia has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional client service. In January 2026, she transitioned into a full-time role, further strengthening our accounting team with her growing expertise and reliability.
Sophia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Siena College in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and plans to pursue her CPA license. In her current role, she manages monthly accounting for a diverse range of clients and provides support with sales tax and payroll tax compliance. She prepares individual and business tax returns, collects and organizes client tax documentation, and assists with more complex tax matters such as PTET (Pass-Through Entity Tax) and estimated tax payments. Her ability to navigate these areas allows her to deliver clear, accurate, and timely support to both clients and the firm.
