Melinda retired from full-time practice in 2024 after more than 30 years of experience as a CPA advising businesses and their owners on tax planning, strategy, accounting, and business operations. She continues to share her expertise with our firm, providing valuable support when needed.
Throughout her career, Melinda worked extensively with restaurants, real estate firms, construction companies, veterinary practices, and other specialty retail businesses, giving her a broad and practical perspective on business challenges. Her clients have long benefited from her ability to connect accounting, tax, and financial considerations to overall business strategy.
In the past decade, Melinda also offered “virtual CFO” services, guiding clients on comprehensive financial strategy, overseeing accounting staff, and helping recruit top accounting and finance professionals. Her insight into industry-specific performance metrics has been especially valuable in establishing key performance indicators.
Melinda began her career with two of the world’s largest international accounting firms—Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. She graduated from the University of Florida, earned her CPA license in Florida, and is currently licensed in both Colorado and New York. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
